Here’s a little secret few people know about me—I hate swallowing tablets. There must be others like me out there: people who turn into the five-year old version of themselves and want to throw a tantrum when they see the size of a tablet they have to take. I don’t know why I never developed the capacity to be a normal, adult, tablet-taker, but nevertheless, I do everything I can to avoid it. Most of the time, I take my daily dose of CBD in my morning smoothie. But after too many morning smoothies in a row, I need something a little different. I decided to come up with an innovative recipe to get my daily dose of CBD – one that doesn’t involve tablets or tantrums.

CBD green seasoning is a little mix that goes great on just about everything—from popcorn, to salads, to the perfect top off for your morning scrambled eggs—it’s as diverse as it is delicious. It has the same kind of salty, nutty taste and consistency as Middle Eastern dukkah. It’s great to have on-hand at all times, as the figurative cherry-on-top for just about anything savoury that comes out of your kitchen. But before we get started, let’s dive into why I use biocbd+ products above all others.

The Difference Between biocbd+ and Other CBD Products.

Many CBD hemp oil products on the market today have poor bioavailability. It is not easy for the body to absorb them, because our body is composed of over 60% water. As we know, oil and water do not mix. biocbd+ is an all natural, water-soluble product that’s more bioavailable than other CBD hemp oil products on the market. Overall, you get more bang for your buck.

Additionally, a lot of other CBD companies do not get their products third-party tested and do not providing a certificate of analysis for their ingredients. Lab tests done by independent companies like CBD Oil Review often show that CBD companies are falsely reporting both the percentage of CBD in their products as well as the filler ingredients. In short, not all companies are trustworthy and not all products are bioavailable, which is why I like biocbd+.

Now that that is out of the way, let’s get into the CBD recipe.

Green seasoning CBD recipe

What I like most about this recipe is both how fast it is to make and also that you can make a bunch in advance, so that it will last you a long time. I keep mine in a container and devour it within a week, but it will stay fresh much longer than that. It’s also super healthy. With all the added benefits of nutrient packed superfoods such as chia seeds and seaweed, this recipe will help keep your immune system strong through flu season.

PREP TIME: 5 MINUTES – COOK TIME: 25 MINUTES

CBD Recipe Ingredients:

  • 6-8 x biocbd+ CBD Tablets
  • 8 leaves of Kale, stems removed.
  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (I like black)
  • Chilli flakes
  • Kombu or Nori
  • Salt

Method:

  1. Heat the oven to 300F / 150C.
  2. Mix the pepitas and sunflower seeds with the Shoyu sauce. Place them in a single layer on a lined baking tray along with the Kombu or Nori. Wash and dry the kale, then arrange in a single layer on a second lined baking tray. Place both in the oven and keep a close eye on them until toasted, usually around 20 minutes.
  3. Once removed, let all the ingredients cool and crisp. (This is crucial: it won’t work otherwise).
  4. Crumble the kombu/nori and kale into a large mortar and pestle along with 1 tablespoon of the sunflower seeds. Pound until finely ground. Add the rest of the ingredients. I like to add a few of the remaining toasted seeds whole, but that’s up to you.
  5. When you’re done, it should resemble the consistency of the Middle Eastern nut and herb mix, dukkah. It may be even a little chunkier.
  6. Makes about 1 cup.
